‘like’ing things is stupid really because it doesnt tell the receiver of the ‘like’ why that person chose to ‘like’ that particular item
for example in the case of a picture, whether they ‘like’d it for its actual content, or the fresh and witty comentary provided by the messenger of the information, and if the latter where that wit lay, in the caption or in the tags
i wish there was some way one could know why people were ‘like’ing one’s things, and alert others as to why one ‘like’d theirs
aside from sending them a message right afterwards saying “i ‘like’d that last thing because it was funny not because you were” because that would just be awkward and frankly rude
